How I led the UX of one of Pakistan’s largest banking apps — from an agency build to an open super app, and rebuilt it again.

Observation taught me UX.
Banking taught me trust.
AI makes me fast.
I’m a detective for
user problems — following
clues until the solution
feels obvious.

For me, good product design is not decoration. It is the alignment of user needs, business goals, and technical reality.

I started my career in design, but over time my role moved far beyond screens.
I’ve worked across digital banking, enterprise platforms and client products — leading UX, collaborating with product and engineering teams, and turning complex requirements into simple experiences.
Today I work as much as a product manager as a designer — owning roadmaps, product architecture and delivery, leading a design team, and working side by side with developers.
And when an idea needs proving, I build it myself — vibe-coding real products with AI and shipping them.
Starting with where I am now — and rewinding all the way to where it began. Five roles, twelve years.
Before any pixels, I sit with stakeholders, users and engineers to agree on what we are actually solving and how we will know it worked.
User needs, business goals and technical limits go on one page, so every design decision has a clear reason behind it.
Fast, testable prototypes in Figma, code or AI tools put real flows in front of real users in days, not weeks.
A clean handoff and close pairing with engineering, then I track adoption and usability after launch and keep refining.
Which hat am I wearing today?
Scopes, priorities and timelines — balancing what users need with what the business must hit.

Balochistan has been my biggest escape — from coastal roads and rugged landscapes
to remote tracks, mountains, and places far beyond the usual routes. Over the years,
those rides became stories, photographs, and a way of seeing more of Pakistan on two wheels.

A few words from people I’ve had the opportunity to build,
solve, and occasionally debate pixels with.
Sarim doesn’t hand over screens, he hands over decisions. Every layout came with the reason behind it.
He made a genuinely complex flow feel obvious — and brought engineering along the whole way.
The rare designer who opens the codebase. Handoff stopped being a phase and became a conversation.
Workshops with Sarim end with fewer opinions and more clarity. That is harder than it sounds.
He treats research as a habit, not a phase. Every sprint had a real user in it somewhere.

Still juggling CVs, interviews, and spreadsheets? Imagine having someone on your team who could build a candidate tracker, an onboarding mini-app, or a custom HR system.
You’re looking for a problem solver. I come with a “let me build that” attitude.
